Bending i beam to make boat trailer

 Does anyone one know of an engendering shop in the Rockingham area that can bend Alluminium I beam for me. To make a boat trailer. Also a suplier in Rockingham Area. ?

 Yep Wenco is the place. Bendtech charge a fortune for even basic bending or rolling. Just make sure the grade of ali used is bendable.

 I'm looking at using T6 6082 grade I beams and T5 6060 box cross members. Can anyone tell me the correct grade to use ?  What's bendable and what's knot ?

 What you are looking for is cold workability in material. From what I can gather in data sheets 6082 has good cold workability for rolling etc. The supplier should be able to give you this info anyway.

 Ok thanks sea-kem, I was wondering if any heat was applied when bending. I looked at other I beam trailers, that bend comes out very tidy with no distortion. They do a pretty nice job of it.
