Best wind direction and swell size when fishing out from Cockburn sounds

What are your go to wind and swell conditions when heading out from woodmans point.

Without any knowledge on your
Without any knowledge on your boat/kayak it is a hard one to answer though if your boat is around 4-6m, you would look on days with less than 15 knots of wind. from anywhere south of north east and north west. Anything from the north can chop up the sound.
It also depends on where you are going. if you are in Mangles bay, you can go out in 25 knots from the SW and just plonk amongst the moorings.
