Hey all
headed offshore to the FADS again today, with weather not as nice as last week, and the swell up, we basically had the FADS to our self (went to 4, and only saw 1 boat) but unfortunately it wasnt firing like last week, but we managed a couple fish. only one boated, with a couple lost boat side.Came across a pod of about 50 dolhpins hounding bait out there, was a pretty special thing to see im my opinion.
A mate got his PB in dollie, weighing in at 8.3 kg gutted on certified scales.
Also got a another mack, and also lost another at rotto this arvo. Was a mate first, so im sure hes pretty stoked too.

Rewards
A couple of great fish. Mahi are now one of my favourite eating fish by an absolute mile. Nice reward for the distance travelled.

Congrats
What is dollie like on the chew. I have only always put them back when you het one here in dampier, because I think they are soooo pretty. But they are one of the fastest growing fish in the Ocean and dont have a long lifespan, so taking one for a feed aint going to hurt the stock.
Just dont want to take one and find out its shiite. Thats just killing a fish for nothing.

you wont regret taking one
you wont regret taking one for a feed. never tasted anything like them. only downside is the whole fish has to be eaten fresh as they just dont freeze well.

Dollies
Love em. My favourite eating fish in the ocean. It's a really soft flesh so be careful not to over cook it. Like all fish it's best fresh. I have been cryovacing them and have recently eaten some six month old stuff and it was still pretty bloody good.
