Guyana is in South America, where Piranhas live. Ghana is in Africa where tigerfish live. Not sure where gyanha is :p
The actual fish is a goliath tigerfish ;) (they live in southern africa, mostly the congo river)

If that is a tiger fish, they fight real hard. I have always wanted to try for one of those. Some of our South African members have probably caught a few.

its a tiger fish
tiger fish are one of the best game species in world. they are fresh water and live in the zambezi river in zimbabwe and zambia. they have been introduced to other waters such as man made dams. in south africa near the region called pongola i have caugth them in a lake they made there. i used live koi about 10cm long and i got 3 and lost about 4. my first one was like 20cm but felt like a monster of a fish. my biggest was 5kgs and i thought i was fighting one hell of a ray. that fish there is probs about 15kgs.
