Bimini to Swivel -Best knot please

Been a sucker for the modified Palomar I developed, but I am sure it failed a couple of times, especially the last time I was on to the Spinning whaler. Took about half the line on the Saltiga LD30 2S, but by then I was confident I had it beat. All off a sudden, slack ass, and all the line came BACK BAR THE TERMINAL GEAR, IE KNOT FAILURE.

Now most off my gear have way oversize snaps for quick changes, so I doubt very much the snaps will go.

So to terminal tackle what is the best Bimini too ---    knot please. Cats paw, Multi wind Uni etc ( because I AM going to catch that beast)

Cats paw bimini to swivel, if you have to cut the bimini at the swivel at any stage then uni the bimini to the swivel.

I still recon an FG to mono,

I still recon an FG to mono, then uni the mono to whatever terminal tackle, is the best way. I have not had an FG fail, I tie them in PE8 all the way down to PE1. On very fine braid (6 lb) the FG was too difficult for my 41 year old eyes, so Bimini to GT works well.

I don't like knots in braid ( palomar one of the easiest and best?) as it is very fine and when it bites in on itself, it can break. The FG knot minimizes this as you have the mono to absorb the cutting property of the braid v

The Cats Paw is what I did

Just wanteds to know the best, because if this fails I am going to glue the bastard one!!!!

PS I drop a medical superglue called Histacryl on all my braid knot anyway. Perfuses through the fibres and does increase the strenght.
