Bit sad as a fisherman !

Was down the front beach having a burb after work
and spotted this poor fella makes ya feel bad as a
fisherman !! Tried to get hold of him but he took
off !! As ocean lovers and fishos only takes little
braid left over and it's made this poor gulls life
hell !! Da pirate !

Yep agree-One of my volunteering activities is "Keep Australia Beautiful" and that envolves picking up the fishing line left lying around the local Jetties.
My Dad taught me how to Fish-Thanks Dad.(RIP)

It pisses me off when fellow
It pisses me off when fellow fisho's have a laugh when they get spooled because they're fishing too light for their target species.
300+ metres of braid rolling around in the ocean isn't a good thing. If it's spooling ya, lock the drag and hand over the spool to bust it off.
Better having a couple of metres of mono/fluro leader in the ocean than a whole spool of braid.
