So you catch a female that is green
or brownish .......still a blue groper though just not as pretty.

Used to hand feed a massive blue out from Carnac whilst diving
It always sported several scars and rusty hooks .....would have easily gone 20kg or more, still have some old vhs video we took feeding it pencil urchins.....now pencil urchins have vanished and so have the giant snails .....

Probably the most prolific large reef fish on the east coast and there protecting them. So zero science just away of giving non fishing green warriors something too feel all warm and fuzzy about this country is funked I'm afraid to say.

Yep that was a shocking bit
Yep that was a shocking bit of journalism. I think comparing us to the US is just laughable. I have never been fearful of gun violence here but in the US (where they obviously have a huge problem) it's always a real threat.
