Well don't know about you all, just got our boat licence and its gone up for a 5.2 meter by $47.30 so now the boat costs to register $162.60, how has everybody else faired in another increase on top of electricity, gas, fishing license, RST license, cray and all other licenses. Getting beyond the joke to own a boat.
Where is the money going? Old fart when he got the boat the rego for it was $32 in 1982, up up and away.

iana agree
Bob is a life member so we don't have to pay the extra $100 but Bob will be paying. All the new floating jetties (done) and the roof/interior to be rebuilt. But remember the Club has also got extra land, hard stands for x amount of boats, so lots of things happening and yes it will cost but have to keep the Club looking good, as you know what Governments are like, could turn around and see goodbye, you're not keeping your place 100% even though the committee has got a 25yr leases.
Sorry for raving on, at least we in the CPBA see where the money is going, where is our money going for all these extra taxes the Government is charging us?

yeah.... noticed that !!
not to mention increased fees each year....
but still a better and cheaper option than getting your car broken into and the hassle next door at the public ramps !

Fees fees fees
We have not even started to feel the pain yet...
The increase in the cost of power alone is hurting many of the oldies/pensioners.
Throw on top of that the fishing fees and now Normie is trying to justify a landbased tax because during the ban we're alll now fishing for whiting and tailor.......
Then there will be the insurance costs after the hail storm they won't be wanting to absorb that cost I don't think, then rego, water, rates, ...
All of these fees, once were a basic fee for service, but as the Govt; OUR Govt; sells off all the utilities they used our parents, grand parents, and your tax dollars to build and develop, they will move from a simple provision of service to a profit making venture, I read somewhere that they sold off the water authority in London and it's been an expensive disaster....
Here in Australia where we have taken for granted that the Govt would "do the right thing...." and continue a simple fee for service. I think we're going to see how wrong we are as they will move these to profit making ventures, with all the associated political clap trap and verbal dirrhoea they always have to sell this rubbish to the nutered apathetic masses.
