Hey folks just got back from another great salmon trip down Augusta way, this was the last fish caught on the trip and the biggest at just over 8kg, she didn't come from a school tho, it took a mulie from a gutter only 30 metres from shore just as the sun was setting. In the 12 years that i've been going there its the second biggest salmon i've caught.

Good size fish
The fish at Hamelin were the biggest I've seen ever!! Normally the average size is around 4 to 5 kgs, but last trip average was around 6kgs.

well done
We picked a few up at windy harbour over easter. heading back down anzac weekend with the old farts,Ill let the local madam know so she organize some of her more mature ladies for the trip. But the fish are a good size this year they ceartainly streach line and give the drag a workout with a couple of good runs. Got to remember to take the smoker this time.cheers Stu
