hey guys im 16 i was wanting to get my recreational skippers ticket can you reccomend a place? what are some prices also i heard its best to wait till i get my provisional drivers license is this true?

you can get your licence at
you can get your licence at 16 but you will be restricted to doing a max of 8knts even if there is an older licenced person on the boat

Hey FF, are you sure about that? unless they changed the rules this year i was under the impression that if under 16 you are limited to 8kn and must drive during daylight hours, unless an older licensed person is onboard in this case there is no speed limit and once 16 there is no speed limit and no time restrictions.

try going through a sea
try going through a sea rescue. we did ours at rocko sea rescue but there are plenty of places around. good luck but study the book well before you go for your ticket

yeh i just priced the one in fremantle
luckily i get a concession rate and now it might be in my price range YAY!!!
