Boat stolen but been found

3am phone call from rockingham police asking if I owned a boat and if it was in my driveway thought it was a prank call but no, worst feeling ever ...... But grateful that some kind person rang it in saying a boat was dumped in the bush. thank you to the awesome person who did that can't thank them enough .. Boat was taken from Baldivis area they had been scoping it out as they came very prepared with massive bolt cutter and other tools to take it. was gut renching my pride and joy taken something I work hard for...

warning to all boat owners they are looking and on to it and if they want it they will get it as this had a wheel clamp also on it but got destroyed but left some marks on the road....but I don't get it as they dumped it 10mins from my house but they never put jockey wheel up or motor and boat was not strapped down so it has taken some damage motor leg and transducer destroyed and a few glass repairs.....

im in glad I got it back and it's in one piece I no some people don't get there's back

but chain it up as much as you can and hard as you can so it makes them think twice

cheers

A mate of mine kept his 7m

A mate of mine kept his 7m Ally in an alarmed workshop in Osborne park, behind big locked gates, securley chained through wheels/axle to a concrete anchor burried deep in the ground.

It was stolen and found many months later in Maddington. Stripped bare...........

Seems a lot of work to go to just to dump it. Did they take anything sounder/gps etc?

Love the Security by Rotty Vinesh, a lot better than any alarms or locks.

Glad you got her back, wonder if they will come back for a second go?

sounds like the dumbass s didnt know how to hook it up properly, so when they would have been driving off it would have been bloody noisy dragging down the road...... so they dumped it, before they got caught!!!

 Glad you have it back.

Some low life people live in amongst our communities and unfortunately most times get away with crimes as such.

Best thing is to install high def cameras all round your place that way atleast you have something to start with

Bloody Barstards

I really get angry when I read reports like this, to me it seems like there are a lot of people who don't care how much anguish and pain they cause by taking peoples property. All of us work or have worked damn hard to get our possessions and the crap of society think it's ok to steal it because they want it. Never let the thought of working for it pass through their tiny mind. I really think it's about time that the judiciary take head of the publics anger at the amount of thieving that is occurring and start making some real examples of the bastards when they are caught. I really feel sorry for the cops they put in a lot of effort to catch the bastards and before they have finished the paper work on the case the scum is out on the street at it again.

My boat got stolen 5 years

Wed, 2013-12-04 09:38

My boat got stolen 5 years ago.. never to be seen again. The police filed the report but I was told they couldn't actively investigate as they are under-resourced. Was told to haunt local boat ramps in the off chance it showed up. To add injury to insult the dept of planning sent me a registration bill 12 months later as they hadn't updated their records... so even if the police had my boat right in front of them a licence check wouldn't have raised any flags. Useless bastards
