kayak
If I can trust you (?), I have one you can borrow. I have a Malibu Pro2 Tandem or I have a Wilderness Single seater. Wilderness has fish finder etc. They are both fishing kayaks, take your pic. (I may regret this offer).

Ya don't need to borrow an
Ya don't need to borrow an anchor pom, tie a couple of bricks or a barbel weight to a rope & your good. It's only a yak, it doesn't take much to anchor them in place. Oh yeah, if you don't have much yak experience on the ocean pom then I would be looking to borrow a yak without the electronics. If your not experienced then there's a real good chance your going over & there equipment might not be waterproofed. I don't think the owner would be impressed to find you've drowned all thier expensive equipment & I doubt you have enough cash to replace it.

Then why don't you just buy a yak mate? You can buy a new yak for alot less than it would cost to replace someone elses electrics. You'll get plenty of use out of it in the metro area as well as your trips away. I know what I'd rather spend my money on if it were me.

When I was younger we would take a couple empty milk cartons with a rope tied to them, fill them with sand when we got to the beach and empty the sand when we got back, saved us lugging rocks and bricks around

hey try looking on gumtree.com and in the quokka, theres always a few kayaks etc in there, and theres usually a couple basic 'fishing' kayaks (has a rod holder) for $200-400. obvsly depending on ur budget and how much u plan to use it im sure youll find something to suit

Yer I won't get a lot of use out of it here, I only wanted one because dad won't go out on the boat everyday, so if I had one I would be able to go out and gett into some decent fish
