hey guys went out to test the new furuno on sunday out in the trench looking 4 some grey bands or haupkabut instead could only find these bastsrd green eye sharks they must have been in the thousands just got double headers of them every drop so trying to get away from them went an tyed from 190m to 420m an still couldnt get past them. so we went into ta 45m mark on a few lumps an ended p with 2 duies 1 pinky 1 big baldy so not to bad of A day in the end othere that dropping my spotters in the drink an loosing about 400m of varis gt smp braid :(

well done on persisting to get some fish, but shame about the spotters and varias, thats expensive stuff. how did you loose the braid?

fcv 585 with a 1kw went mint
fcv 585 with a 1kw went mint best investment ever. the braid was lost wen ben got a litte basted geen eye that swam though my line an wen i was cutting out his rig the siccors just touched the braid an being my rig was on the bottom it didnt take much to loose it all. if i can work out how to get the piks off m phone ill post them up it not playin the game atm

Spanish can't really comment on the tide it was the first time we had even attempted that depth.... So didn't really know what to expect. Was fun though except the winding up to check your bait!! The Furuno was brilliant...Once we worked the right settings! but once the setting were ajusted we were getting arches in 350 odd meters!
