do u think bream should be a sports fish instead of people keeping them well i do because for them to get big it takes awhile so i think they should have ban on them in winter cause thats when start to breed and all that.

they are a very good eating
they are a very good eating fish, in the 30-35cm bracket. any smaller is not enough meat, too small bones and any bigger gets drier. theres plenty around, but imo, there is no need for a closed season on them. if anything, raise the size limit to 30cm. keep in mind stella, there is still a large number of people out there that fish for a feed as well as fun. and , why wouldnt you want to with such a great fighting fish that tastes so great?

Hey well first of all
Hey well first of all Welcome to the site, if you havent introduced yourself already.
I catch bream if i ever go to the swan and canning rivers and occasionally Moore river, yet to go to Walpole.
I Target Rays and bigger stuff and landed my first Mulloway at around 18kg @ 123cm.
