Hi Everyone,
a mate of mine and i are going to try and catch some bream this saturday. Being complete novices targeting this fish species i was wondering if anyone could lead us in the right direction as far as spots/conditions etc to look for when fishing for bream. any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Ash

Hey man. go to canning
Hey man. go to canning bridge ... theres a jetty which runs under the bridge... your best bait would be mussel to prevent blowies.
A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work.

I normally fish for bream around redcliff or Mosman bay
Fish on raising tide, if you have problem with blowies use hard body lures.
Breams like structures and drop offs so fish around structures or pylons.
If you are fishing in the night time use river prawns on a proper bream hook.
Also you can use white bait on a small stainless steel gang hooks with a small running sinker.
You have to strike hard when they hit your bait or you lose them.
Its good fun, let us know how you went.
Cheers!!
