Plenty of well fed squid and herring in the marina. I guess a well placed unweighted bait off the groyne could go off!

Salmon

We've caught them literally all year round in Bremer.

Bound to be a few schools at Fosters or Reef. Last time we were there (in November) there was a massive school in one of the hole's at reef. Should be a few down there at the moment.

Reef beach is the next beach

Reef beach is the next beach west of fosters. Sometimes very hard to fish if the swell is up and the schools are staying deep. Be careful if you decide to wade out - we were out in waist deep water last trip and got yelled back to shore. Had a 3.5m bronzy chasing one of the fish in towards us.

We were down there two

We were down there two Christmas ago. Yes they are 4wd accessible. Some of the tracks get pretty narrow and if you are taking your Pathfinder you may get a few new feature scratches.

Go down Dillon Bay Road and there are a number of tracks which take you to a variety of Beaches. Blossoms is also a pretty good one and we saw fish there, along with Fishy (or Fishery) beach in town. Blokes were catching the illusive herring there and there is some pretty nice reef along the beach though it was extremely soft, so tyres down to 15 before you get on it, and take maxx trax or similar.

What swompa said

The track's in are ok but the hill down to the beach gets a bit hairy at Reef (stock Patrol and Prado had no worries last time we went). Just go nice and slow.

The Fosters track isn't hard, I've also heard they recently rubber matted the sand dune in/out.

The river can also hold some

The river can also hold some good sized Bream

If you take the dinghy you don't have to go far to get into Kg and skippy.

A small strip of fresh skippy is dynamite on KG's.
