Nope, as long as your leader is clear colored or flourocarbon. If they're picky, run longer and lighter leader.

I run a bright orange pe braid for bream but they dont mind at all. (always use a fluro leader though).

not a fan of high vis braid

not a fan of high vis braid for the river i use moss green finns and use about a meter of leader its the same colour as the river bottom but most good braids are high vis i have found they both work with a good leader so its personal choice.good luck

 I use red PowerPro with 1 metre of fluro, as red is the first colour in the water to dissapear or something

thanks for the tips i have bright orange braid but i always run a florocarbon leader
