broome fishing

hey guys im headin up to karatha, port headland and broome, next week for work, wonderin if its worth takin a rod ,what can you get up there at this time of year? also if any one knows any spots . cheers

hmm
if you can broome jetty is a pretty insane place,
handlines are generally the go there,
for the bottom angling your looking at blue bone, trevs etc. and for bait i saw a few oldies using fresh craps caught on the rocks at the start of the jetty.
For the surface i saw many GT's, Queenfish and various species of salmon, i might suggest a popper or something as they hit the garfish there off the surface.
I never actually fished there it was all observations. SO hopefully my eyes serve me well and you do alright! i'm no expert so good luck mate
