Try search on the forum. There are heaps of info.
If Easterly blow though, you are stuffed.
There's a bloke by the local morning market that brings people fishing on his Yak. You can try him too. Think his name is Greg. He provide all gear and lures.

Try Reddell beach, up near
Try Reddell beach, up near the fishing club. This was a favourite land based spot of mine when I was living there. On the extreme low tides, you can access some of the reef ledges and deeper water. I've picked heaps of trevs, quennies, mackies and the odd emperor and trout. Take a few slices, divers and halco tremblers work well too. Drop the tremblers straight down a reef ledge and you'll be surprised what's down there. This accounted for many coral trout. Just be mindful of the tide changes, don't get caught out! Good luck mate!

Try a charter
Mate I've been to Broome twice this year and fished land based plus hired my own boat for a day. I found the fishing very slow and hardly caught anything, even with some tips on where to fish from a couple of resident friends. As with most places, I reckon local knowledge is all important, especially somewhere like Broome with massive tides. If I went again I'd just book onto a couple of charters.
Cheers,
Smez.
