Bullsharks living in lake at Brisbane golf course

Six bullsharks have become a tourist attraction at the 14th tee at Carbrook Golf Club in Brisbane. The sharks got onto the Queensland golf course when it flooded some years ago after a river broke its banks. They became stranded when the water receded but now they are thriving and even breeding.
The sharks, which are between 2.4 and 3 metres long, are thrown meat to encourage them to come to the surface although the lake is well stocked with fish.
They have become renowned as a tourist attraction and there is a monthly tournament called the Shark Lake Challenge.
Kids used to jump in the lake retrieving golf balls for pocket money.

Heard this on the radio
Heard this on the radio today, pretty cool! Would be a bit of added pressure walking up to that tee. Pretty amazing that they are breeding in there, I didnt realise bull sharks could surive in just fresh water.

They have been in there for
They have been in there for years now, Carbrook is around half way to the old Coast Near Loganholme, Used to play there every couple of weeks. A lost ball is never recovered there, Much like Emu Park up near rockhampton, they used to have a Salty on the course. At least the Sharks dont do land.
