Braid buster kidney harness + belt. Had mine for over 20 years and still going strong. A bit of outlay to start, but well worth it.

Why don't you like the black magic?
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?
I was under the impression the black magic was more back than bum?

have a look here, supports lower back and backside. http://www.blackmagictackle.com/Tips-and-Techniques/The+Equalizer.html#.VaRtZsIVg5s There was a black magic harness (without the black magic gimbal belt) in the for sale forum recently.
Thanks mate that clears it up alot for me. Might just go down that path.

I have used the Black Magic set-up on a marlin. Brilliant, almost all pressure taken off your lower back. I had a recently herniated disc in my lower back at the time and fought the fish no worries.
Boston Whaler 235 Conquest......getting the flogging it was built for.
