3000 size reels

hi people, i just wanted to know what is you guys biggest catch on shimano 3000 size reel? i know the 3000 is the same as a 2500 but just a deeper spool. What do u think of this size shimano reels for snapper on soft plastics and salmon? thanks

A 3000 Shimano reel easily
A 3000 Shimano reel easily works with 20lb braid, so it'll handle the majority of pinkies and have no problems with stopping even the biggest salmon.

Well on Stradic ci4 2500 size reel
I landed a 20kg + sambo in 6-8m of water. This was with a completely factory reel and drag washers.
this was on board a charter at the Abrolhos and even the deckies who heard the drag screaming for several runs were impressed that I managed to land the fish. 20lb leader and on a plastic.

how much bigger is the 3000
how much bigger is the 3000 to the 2500? would u guys rather buy a 3000 stradic fj or a 2500 rarenium (old model)?
