The end has always been closed since the underwater observatory was built.

Which side? Haven't fished there at nights for years but I would say it would depend on weather conditions on the night.

Last time i was down at the jetty there were herring everywhere and plenty of choppers too. Just get a bit of burley in the water and they should turn up. Oh yeah also saw a couple of monster squid and crabs landed, so i would take some jigs and nets as well.

Depth is only around the 30ft

Depth is only around the 30ft - 40ft mark. Bottom is sand and weed with a bit of small reef out about 50m in bit and pieces around from the end.

Cheers

Dale
