Busselton LB

Hi All

Heading to Busso Late Dec-Early Jan and will be doing a few days land based and after some advice. Have heard you can get some Tailor out the front of Broadwater Resort (will be staying nearby) via swimming or kayacking a burley bucket out and casting mulies around near it. Anyone hear of this and if it's successful? Is it also worth throwing a livie around here or is it too shallow for anything big?

Will also probably kayak out for some squid as I have seen some punters have some success around weed in the bay doing this.

I am imagining the Jetty would be closed also so any other easy to get to land based spots and advice on the above would be great?

Cheers

within 100m of the jetty unless you want a nice fineYell Last i heard it wont be open untill feb.

There's plenty of options along the beaches around town if your looking for herring, whiting and Tailor.

I'd be very careful in a kayak as boat traffic will be rediculous at that time of year, but having said that the bay is huge so you should be able to find somewhere a little quieter (maybe).

You may see me sniffing around somewhereWink

Good luck
