Hi Folks
Wanted to know if the fishing is decent down by Busselton?
The new development, Port Geo canal lots? Those canals are man made right? Do they silt up?

I fish down that way a fair
I fish down that way a fair bit Alfred my parents have a couple of holiday house/park homes next to Broadwater beach resort rate it highly for fishing.
Good shore based even better boating. You have the options of fishing west of the cape when the weather permits and swell is down or north of the cape which is mostly protected from the nasty elements you get west. But in saying that if there is any north in the wind like here it's no good.I have got dollies west of the cape at the wave rider buoy to tuna in the bay my mate got a 60 kg yellow fin in the bay some of my best bottom fishing has been down there and as my aviatar shows there are also some big blue boys down that way too lots of options with little water travel.
If you need some help with accommodation down that way pm me
