hey all.
going to busso soon and planing on fishing all day to gather bait and have fun. then at night using the fresh bait and the scalies i caught yesturday and fish into the night for bigger fish and tailor.
the bait fish that im planning on targeting are garfish and whiting. then use them on tailor.
my question is are there many tailor running? and if i start a burley trail into the nigh which species am i likely to catch??
cheers danno

If you
start a berley trail at a beach around busso you more likely to catch rays and crabs than anything else, just my experience.
Try the west coast, wind and swell permitting.

No tailor down here yet,
No tailor down here yet, maybe soon though. Lots of crabs to steal your bait but.

Might be able to get some
Might be able to get some choppers on dusk up at Wonnerup. But yeah if you really want to target Tailor head to the West Coast. Mate got some nicies from Willyabrup Beach eight days ago.

no mulloway?? or any thing
no mulloway?? or any thing else in that range?
the gear that im going to use is a penn spinfisher 850ssm with a 12ft rod and a bario 11ft with a bait runner. the rigs im going to use is snelled 5/0s with a scalie or half a scalie ancored on the bottom and use a cork to get the bait away from the crabs. and on the bario a ganged hook un wieghted with a whole scalie, whiting or a garfish(which ever i caught freshest).
what do you guys thing ill get on them other then rays??? do you think the sambos will come in??
cheers

Can't say
i've ever heard of anyone catching a Sambo off the beach around here. Some Rock platforms do hold Sambo's but i'm not sure there in close yet. As far as Mulloway go there's always a chance if your fishing in a gutter or hole. Just gotta find 1, that's usually the hard part.
