Buying a new dinghy in Perth
Submitted by Goodz on Wed, 2013-10-23 07:17
Can anyone recommend somewhere in perth that sells new dinghys? Obviously I've done a search and found a few places (dinghy world, seaport marine) but thought there would be more places around that sell tinnys. Helping my father in law buy his first boat so we can get some crabs this summer.
Cheers for any help!

Mate of mine just bought a new bluefin 4.2 from Dinghy World. Looks like a good package and he did a fair bit of shopping around.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

so if you know nothing about
so if you know nothing about them why is it you rubbish them???
Not made by yammy but are an almost identical model and a lot of yammy dealers use parts from parsuns for the yammy motors when repairing. Do some research before you defame a product. Yes you will find a few negative reports but tell me a product you dont.

Thanks guys. Yeah looking
Thanks guys. Yeah looking for something 4m-4.2m so will be checking out those bluefins. I want him to get something big enough I can sneak out for a few snapper sessions in it around GI and the ffb. Any opinions on wether a 4 stroke would be worth the extra $. Obviously quieter would be a great advantage for a tiller steer.

Personal prefrance on
Personal prefrance on 4stroke, if/when I next upgrade I've been looking into Evenrude Etec 2strokes they are as quiet as a four stroke anyway. Has anyone got personal experience with them?

+1 for Dinghy World. Dave and
+1 for Dinghy World. Dave and Vince are good blokes. My first boat was a 4.3m Discovery. Had a 30HP Honda 4 stroke ($15 in fuel for a snapper run out to the 3 mile n back). Given the choice I'd go the 40HP (max HP for the 4.3m)... For those really flat days when you may want to sneak out to Rotto.
