Snapper season is 4 days old in 2013 and NO reports, what's the go is there nothing left in the Sound or are you guys being very quiet? (Please tell).
I have had this Friday booked to have a snapper go for a couple of months and have been looking for reports and bragging rights, but nothing. Please tell me Cockburn Sound has not gone dormant.
please note not asking for locations just some idea of what is being caught.
Cheers Ausfisha

Plenty of time to catch
Plenty of time to catch snapper, no rush. I can just imagine what condition they would be in too, we caught a couple just before the ban in the sound a couple years ago and they were all pale and quite manky looking. I think these ones had already started doing their thang coz we spotted a couple schools on the surface in the same area a couple days before.
Like Matt said, its a great time of year to get out there chasing species we dont often get to target
