Hi everyone. Hope all is well, can anyone tell me how far up the canning river you can drive a trailer boat up? I have been down the swan up 2 the womans prison all the way to fremantle many many times but never really been to far up the canning... when does it become to shallow or narrow? Would like a new scenery just to cruise down. Cheers

It’s very shallow above Shelley Bridge, great spot for canoeing
You enter a world of ancient paperbarks festooned with moss and lichen until you reach the barrage ....great bream water with prawns or Sps

If you're small enough to
If you're small enough to get under riverton bridge, and make it past the shallows then Kent st weir is the next stop.
