Caprice Jig Does it Again
Submitted by Seaquest on Wed, 2010-12-22 20:25
Got out for a fish today after a long ten week break. Left at 12pm and where on our way home by 1.30pm. Two drifts for three dhuys. Got mine on a Caprice jig. Also got a small flathead on the jig as well. These jigs are deadly on any species. Mates dad got his first ever dhuy. After bagging out thought we do the right thing and head home. Great arvo after a long break.

That poor Flatty must have had the jig land on it's head.

If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

Evergreen Caprice
Not sure anyone stocks Evergreen Caprice locally, the dealer isnt very interested in their jigging range. There is a locally-available knock-off called the fanky though.

All Boat Business and Oceanside Tackle and Marine don't stock them. I've only seen them on shimreels. Must be someone locally that sells these???
I've seen the Frankys, there are a number of stores that sell them but would like to get my hands on the originals...
