Caravan advice ( with bunks )

Crew...
After a couple of years of dragging our pop up and out campervan around the place I think an upgrade is required.
Wanting off-road or semi off-road.
Needs Queen bed with the ability to sleep another two kids, either bunk or otherwise.
Jayco expander
Windsor Rapid
Goldstream with bunks are all possibilities but without really knowing much about Caravans I thought I'd throw it out there to you lot.
Has anyone had/seen a well built van that has the ability to fit 2 adults and the kids comfortably.
Don't want campervan, want to be able to walk into it without having to set it up.

We have a Jayco Expanda
We have a Jayco Expanda Outback 14-44-4. Queen bed folds out at the front and has a bunk bead along the back wall for the kids. We love it & it suits our family of 4 perfectly.

Yep we have friends with expanders, I just worry a little about the build quality.
We get fairly off-road into the rough stuff when possible.
I'm camped next to an off-road Jayco at the moment, looks pretty new but the front window has tape around all sides. I assume dust was an issue unless it was leaking?

Besides breaking a cupboard
Besides breaking a cupboard drawer the first day we got the van we haven’t had any problems yet (touch wood!). That said and even though ours is the Outback model I wouldn’t take it to hard core off road. National Parks and gravel roads will be about the worst ours will see.

Watching with interest
I've been looking for the same mate. Sunseeker Wild Child is at the top of my list ATM

Have you heard good things
Have you heard good things about them mate? I'd prefer to buy something in good condition a few years old if possible.
Hopefully owned by some handy bugger that has tricked it up a bit.

Roadstar have had a good reputation
Though like Coromal, their quality may have slipped in recent times. Good luck with the search Timboon . Lots of caravan makers out there these days that's for sure!

Explorex
I dont know if you have had a look at Explorex vans. They are made here in WA and originally made as kitchens/offices/sleeping quarters for the mining industry. They are steel framed and look to be very well made.
Certainly the van i will be considering when the time is right.
