Carnac Island
Not real sure but i have seen people on the beach before. Maybe CALM might be able to help you out or even Rockingham Tourist Centre. If you do go ashore be careful as ive heard that there are lots and lots of tiger snakes.....

Carnac Island
As far as I know you are allowed to land there but as Foz said you should watch out for the Snakes.
Theres just about always seals on the beach too and they should also be given a wide berth for all sorts of reasons.
Would be interested if you find out something official.
TommyTomato may be able to help on this one.

The reason Im asking is
The reason Im asking is because it would be a great place to head over there with the kids for a day And dive around the Island for crays.I no theres seals there and Tiger snakes wich is why I thought it might be restricted access. But Im definatly not interested in disturbing the seals or playing with tiger snakes.Mainly just curious.

Re: Carnac Island
Carnac Island is an A Class nature reserve approximately 10 kilometres south west of Fremantle , Western Australia.
In 1803 French explorer Louis de Freycinet, captian of the Casuarina named the island Ille Pele ( Bald Island ). It was also nown as Ille Levilian and later Pulo Carnac . In 1827 , James Stirling changed it's name to Carnac Island in honour of John Rivett Carnac, an officer of his ship HMS Success
The island is home to Australian Sea Lions, Bottlenose Dolphin s and a large range of marine bird life. It is particularly noted for the abundance of snakes, particularly Dugites, Tiger snakes which live on the island. For this reason, very few people venture onto the island.
