caught my first real wa fish

gday all got my first real fish over west yesterday... got 3 nice little pinkies and a queen snapper.. was wrapped catching the queen snapper... allright my question is if i am catching snapper and the queen snapper am i roughly in the right area to get a dhufish? i am really keen to catch what everyone says thebest eating fish in the sea.....

Best Eating Fish ?
Now theres a very debateable point .
Is a Dhufish the best eating fish in the sea ....for that matter is it even in the top
five ?
Not in my opinion Reds, baldies,trout ,threadfin ,pinks are a few I would prefer in front of the dhu'y

well done on your first real W A fish, personally i would rather have a feed of fresh pinkie over dhuie any day.the one advantage of a dhuie is you get more flesh off them than pinkies. hope you manage to nail one soon

hang in there mate
Out hunting for new ground this week and caught our first Nannagia, Queen Snapper and duhie! We switched to fresh caught herring which the duhies and whereas the queen and pinkies hit squid.
Based on advice from fellow members, we are taking more time on rigging our bait better for presentation. Cheers, Ben
