Cheapish Halco Lasr Pro's

Howzit,
Just got a couple of lures for up north trip from K-Mart Cannington(carousel). A Halco Laser Pro 160dd 2m+ diver in mackeral colour(H50) for 25% off retail for $17.29 and the 120std 1m diver in mackeral colour (H50) for $13.99. Dunno if that's good or not but worth a mention as I read a post last night about some people chasing that colour Halco's.

Those chrome blue and purple halco's where the lure of choice when I was up in Headland the other day. Out fished the classic redhead by a huge margin. Lost 5 of them though. Friggin sharks!!

They're $11.60 and $9.20 on motackle respctively but then you have to factor freight into that. That's why they are a bit cheaper

Im hearing ya

$2.50 a lure is a big differance. You could look at it both ways, get lots of people in ya store with good prices and hope they buy more while they are there. Or charge more and make money of the few peple that come thru the door. I dont know the prices accross the store but Honsu put it out there and John smashed his price. Anybody who lives in between there stores are going to make there own minds up. John im sure you have good advise to give, is it better then Oceansides? people will make up there own minds.

Petrol? if I'm that way for whatever reason then it would be a saving yeah? I'm in the Cannington area so O'Connor and Joondalup is way away. Granted there's definately quit a difference in prices

realistic!

Thu, 2008-02-07 10:58

Be realistic, many local shops give good service/help/knowledge. I know a retailer that sells the same lure as John (CampingWorld Joondalup) and myself sell for $13.95 ;)

You can keep on shopping around and you may find it cheaper again. I could find out what many people do here as a job and shop around on them and find a cheaper quote/product but for me i buy on service. I have supported many people on this site when i buy something...could shop around and SMASH that price they offered me also but i'm not like that ;)

Yeh!

Thu, 2008-02-07 11:00

Yeh you see things differently when you own a business that's for sure mate. In saying that, when i was younger i was always loyal to my local (offered good help/service & price not bad) and didn't drive around town burning up fuel (especially at the current cost) to save a few $

Cheers Dean, happy to look after you!
