Try using your favourite flavoured chips instead of bread crumbs.smash chips up in a bag egg fillets put you fillets in bag with your smashed chips.cover your fillets all over then let them sit in fridge for 15 mins then shallow fry them.i used thins sour cream and onion ones tonight.fantastic .give it a go

Saw that on ifish the other day with salt and vinegar chips flatty fillets. Seemed to work ok for them.
Good to hear it actually works as you cant always believe what you see on these shows.

Yep, been doing this for a while now after seeing it on a TV fishing show.
I use salt and vinegar and it always comes up a treat.
The finer you smash up the chips, the better.
