Chivers formula 2000 20ft 6.09m fiberglass runabout? 1997 hull.

Looking at one, its fitted with a 90hp evinrude 2007. 150 hours, seems a fearly low V up front. Anyone know how they go off shore?

Too low

I agree with Dodgy, a minimum 140hp for a 6m boat. I have a 150 on my 6.1 and find it is more than adequate.

What year

What year is it? Depends also on the condition of the unit and whether it has been serviced. Give you an example, my 1993 Johnson 150 with controls cost me $2200 a couple of years ago. Hope this gives you an idea.

As i wrote earlier its 2007

As i wrote earlier its 2007 90hp with 150 hours. i was under the impression the evinrude didnt need a service for 300 hours, or does time come into it eg. 300 hours or 3 years.......or something along those lines?

Im a bit weary of the older modles, have you had a good run with yours? I had 1988 evinrude (175 2 stroke oil injected) on my last boat and it gave me several headaches.
