Soak yourself in a bath of Bushman/deet for a week, or get eaten alive

i remember camping there with my mate years ago we were getting savaged by the sandflies , and old mate pulls out some old cans of "Scram" this will fix them he says , i thought that stuff was banned just after the vietnam war , yeah it was i  think  but stole this stuff from work years ago, looked at the side of the can and the contents , yeah should kill the sandies  but going to kill us as well haha so we sprayed it every where , worked for all of 15 minutes and then the sandies were back

think you will find

"the magic hole" its not opposite the ramp but more about 300 meters west from the ramp towards the  enterance of the creek its easy to find just look for where the blokes are fishing of the rocks , its a good NW mulloway hole , also head out of the creek a bit and drop your crab nets you can get blue mannas pretty year around , head to the first island out from the creek with some rock crabs for bait use heavy hand lines for some thumper blue bone

 There's a hole directly

There's a hole directly across from the ramp there... might be that one?

And definitely agree with layering up with bushmans... buggers are thick at the moment!!

 I camped and fished there

Mon, 2017-04-10 09:08

I camped and fished there once in Feb and got smashed by sandflies...ended up with Ross River.

But apart from that its decent tinny fishing and there are tonnes of Blue Mannas if you know here to go.
