Since every one is posting up images, here are our two PB Large toothed flounder.
Both caught with in Cockburn Sound early this year. I'm told that these flounder are pretty big for this area.

Caught by the mrs, this one was bigger than the one I caught 54cm
Smaller than the one caught by my mrs, 40cm

Flounder is a species ive never really targeted, and havent had much luck catching(well not for a while!) Always end up with flatties instead!

Pretty nice flounder indeed tommy!
They are great eating as well only problem is the amount of fine bones.
Here is our best one to date.. That is a 55cm dhuie beside it and it makes it look small.. Don't really like posting up big kill catches, but it was a pretty good day out a few years back.

Nah, not sure tommy..
Was watching a bbc documentry the other night and flounder can actually change their appearance to mimic the surroundings they are in. They had a black and white checkerboard as the bottom and the flounder created a similar checkerboard on its back, was crazy stuff.. Pretty smart creature, it was a close replication. I will see if i can take a screenshot and post it up.
