Hi all & happy easter!
The weather is not looking too crash hot for a deep drop on saturday and i want to get out but have never fished the sound.
Any tips on what I need to look out for? Or is Saturday looking like its completely not worth getting it wet?
Mainly chasing a few squid and a morning on the water...
Also, what colour jigs should I use on what day? Im a newbi to squidding.
Cheers guys!

Im not a pro but i am guessing the sound will be a washing machine. I have an 18ft swiftcraft and I am not sure I would be taking that anywhere anytime soon. Then again I have been wrong, but..
If it is good water then for the squid look for clean sheltered water, 3mtrs and deeper and my rule of thumb with colours is" Dark day Dark Jig, Bright Day Bright Jig". Then I swap colours from there till I get them.
Last week I got 12 in 4mtrs water all on black jig, #3, overcast day. Wind was 12knts sth and I found shelter.
Hope this helps good luck and happy easter.
