[Compleat Angler and Camping World Nedlands] - Seafari to the Mackerel Islands

 Compleat Angler Seafari

1st May 2016 – 14th May 2016

As we have had 3 boats pull out there are a few spots available for this amazing trip.

This is an awesome fishing adventure that is simply not to be missed, 12 boats only. Imagine 5 days of organised fishing with experienced hosts sharing the local fishing knowledge and tactics with you along with a few, well-guarded, GPS co-ordinates to get you on your way!

Situated 22kms offshore from the town of Onslow, located 1,400km north of Perth, you have the option to travel in convoy to the Mackerel Islands, one of the world’s best fishing destinations.

Marlin, Sailfish, Yellowfin, Spaniards, Wahoo, GTs and a host of other top water speedsters are likely to be encountered along with premium quality table fish like Coral Trout, Ruby Snapper and Red Emperor.

The trip will be guided by the staff from Compleat Angler and Camping World – Nedlands, who will be more than willing to help you out with local knowledge and tactics for chasing your dream fish.

The trip commences on the 1st of May 2016 and goes until the 14th of May 2016. You are more than welcome to stay for the first week, second week, both or any other combination of days in between.

The lodges that we will be staying in are situated on the beach right in front of where the boats are moored, and are all self-contained. The pricing is approximately $1100 per person for 7 nights stay.

For more information please feel free to give us a call on (08) 9389 1337 and ask for Brian.

For smaller boats you can

For smaller boats you can still fish around the Islands in close, it would be similar to fishing around Rottnest.

If you wanted full access to everything that Mackerel Islands has to offer we would reccomend a boat of about 19-20ft.

CHeers mate. I've got LSL due

CHeers mate. I've got LSL due but the Mrs is still at work and I am keen to do a fishing trip but I am somewhat limited in that my boat is 5m and work will only allow me to take the vehicle as far north as Kalbarri. Might not be worth sweet talking a mate into doing the driving up.

A 5m boat will be fine to do

A 5m boat will be fine to do the trip in mate, If the weather is average you can just stay in a little closer and on the calm days it will be perfect for the offshore stuff. Sounds like the only drama is getting it up there!

Some of the biggest macks are close to thevernard. Plenty of smaller boats do the trip in good weather. When it blows up its not real nice there though.
