Coral Bay - 15 Days... Wooohooo!

Hi Everyone. The countdown is on for my trip to Coral Bay. I’m a little nervous to be doing the trip solo but at least if i drive i can take what i want with me. I’m likely going to do a charter at least once but if anyone has any suggestions of the best way to travel with the fish i catch that be great. I can probably borrow a fridge off a mate but don’t think it’s a freezer. Also i am keen to do some land based fishing but not even sure you can do that in coral bay. I don’t remember seeing anyone fishing when i went many years ago so assume that is so they can protect the reef? Thanks Peeps. Getting a bit excited now. :)

Hithere are a few sanctuary
Hi
there are a few sanctuary zones but definitely areas you can fish land based - link below outlines the no go zones- another tip - if you see someone fishing in a spot - doesn't mean its ok to! - saw a few people getting a talking too last November by Fisheries!
Enjoy - its a magic spot

pretty clearly marked
Last time I was there (a number of years back now admittedly) the beach was clearly signposted to the south where you could fish from. Google it and you'll find all the info you need. If you go snorkelling you can see where the sanctuary ends, it's where the fish turn around and go back the other way!!

Great place. Been a few years since ive been . One thing tho do you have a 4be . Makes a diff to where you can lb fish. If you freeze your fish in a foam esky with ice packed in and sealed it will do the trip backwhat charter you looking at . We went out on mahi mahi ii and had a blast
