First panoramic stitching effort

First panoramic stitching effort

Got the name of a good image stitching program (thanks to Tim - PTgui) and have started putting a few pics together, still a bit rough and need to work on the centering and composition etc but starting to get there -  Here's one of One Foot Island, Aitutaki (Cook Islands), hopefully put some more good ones together in the coming weeks.

What camera body/lens did you use?

I'm in the market for a wide angle lens, though am debating whether to upgrade to a 5D or not at the same time...

nice mate, you'll find yourself setting up to do plenty more once you get the program wired. Gives things a whole new look. Big fan of the panoramas

nice first up effort mate! try taking your panos in portrait so you get more or the scene in the photo, also gives it more height so its not so long and skinny. send me a PM if ya want to know anything mate
