cork handle 1-3kg rods

after one or two new bream rods, something with a short but preferably with cork handle in the 1-3kg class to match with some 1000 size reels, advice? budget is sliding, under $100 that ticks most of the boxes would do.

I have no idea if they have cork handles or not, But I saw on MoTackle tonight that they're doing Wilson Live Fiber baitcasters for $99. I've eyed up a 5'6 4 kg one, Bargain.

I have a 7'2 1-3kg short cork handle rod that is exactly what you are after. It is a Precision X which i think is an Okuma rod but just did a qiuck search and cant find it anywhere. This was my first ever graphite rod and probably one of the better rods i have ever owned. Ive caught everything on it, from tiny whiting to 60cm+ tailor and even larger salmon. Bought it from Compleat Angler in Rockingham about 3yrs ago in a combo with a crappy plastic reel for $117. Maybe pop into the store and have a look..
