Crabs in the estury

Went down and put the net in tonight. Loads of crabs about and most were about 1 cm under size. Looks to be a good year . No mullet but managed to get a decent cobbler

Agree
Went out with a crab loving desperado for a feed father last weekend. 5 strings for 99 crabs logged. Good to see an almost 2 per pot average. One record pot for us ever with 6 fighting for a feed. Problem - Not one keeper!
However points to a late but bumper season.

Hey Doc,
Gidgie is a hand spear with 3-5 'prongs' at the end.
