Crays are still in the shallows ........

Went for an early dive this morning with Till and discovered that the crays are still in the shallows. The whites are much firmer and there are less of them, but they are still there. We also realised that the jumbos are not necessarily in deep waters only, as we saw a few horses this am.
Released a few that were just size or under and a large female that was hairy. All in all a good morning. Back in by 8.30am

While I was down there I saw some big PJs and a few KGs, but the real spin out was the YTK that followed me around for 20min. He was chewing on the ball on the end of my cray snare for awhile, and when I swapped ends he started on the ss cable end!
I reckon they're going to get a move on soon. Lots were quite firm and I even saw a few bold enough to be out of cover.
Yeah I also saw a few big boys out there today, but they're just so damn sneaky not sure when I'll bag them. Its the crowds of little ones out the front that make them so hard to snare.
