hey guys just thought i would see if it was just me.......this last gone monday i gave d9 a dive and was sorely disapointed with whats left. as far as i could see there was no main structure left, no holes to swim into, absolutly nothing it looked like a plain old reef just more bland!!!the last time i dived this wreck 2 years back it was full of structure and holes to look in and was brillliant but now the biggest thing i saw was one sambo of around 15kg but he had one look at the wreck and swam off because there was nothing else above 150mm long. one major prob was the viz which was shocking so we gave it half an hour and moved on to plan b which was the north western rock on carnac which was a fantastic shallow dive with heaps of caves and swimthroughs to explore and the viz improved ten fold!!plenty of fish life but nothing very tasty.so i dont know if anyone else has done d9 recently but more than likely wont bother again!
