daiwa saltist sd 20h vs shimano tranx 500hg

I am looking at getting an overhead jigging reel around $350. i was looking at getting the saltist but i found the tranx and that seems to have a massive line capasity at 420mto24kg braid and 11kg drag compared to the 8kg drag of the saltist. its going on a ocean legacy slow element pe4 with pe3 ocea braid.

OK so you are probably much
OK so you are probably much better off with the smaller reel over the larger.....its going to be lighter and of course you don't need or want anyhwere near 450m of line bottom fishing in 30-50m.
One of the best things to do would be to look at the retrieve rate cm/ handle rotation and you want somewhere in the realm of 85-95 cm. anything over that gets uncomfortable but Im not sure of the reels you mention.
