Pretty hit and miss close in.
Pretty hit and miss close in. But you can get all the usual suspects like tropical snapper, Trevors, Queenies and even the odd trout close in. However the fishing is certainly better the futher you go.

Agree with Crasny
He forgot to mention flathead and bream as well as the sharks which have got worse since he left.If you have a throw net there are mullet and whiting around but we only carch them for bait,There is a 12 foot hammerhead hanging around dampier at the moment ,he could be good fun for awhile but please release him as he is a local
There are two types of people ,do'ers and watchers
Right now the do'ers are the doing it
And the watchers are watching us do it

Shark MORE of an issue.
Shark MORE of an issue. Bloody hell they were almost impossible if fishing deeper than 30m.

head east or west. stay away
head east or west. stay away from everyone else and think outside the box and you'll find a feed. Blue Lined Emperor are quite thick out there and are bloody tasty. Message me if you want and i can give you some pointers depending on how far you're willing to travel. Bluebone and Trout should be target species too along with mangrove jacks, cod etc.
