As some know I has a habit of testing gear to see if it will do what they are made out to do .I Got this book last Monday and now has finished the read , my opion of the book is simple ,GET ONE . Was easy to read and understand the info is simply awesome ,and the presentation is great . In my case ,The more I learn the dumber I realized I was .So far this year its the best $15 I has spent. No matter what your experience level is, there is something in it for every one .

What sounders does it cover? I have a navman 6600.

It's based on Lowrance but the fundermentals will aid you in other sounders.....especially when there's not much else out there!

Did some home work on this guy and he knows his stuff its all reavent to what ever sounder you may have the pics are shown with numbers and a discription of what you seeing .

I bought one, and didn't
I bought one, and didn't really help me. I think it is more helpful if you see a few pics of the type of bottom you should be fishing on, and a good read of the sounder manual helped me the most in trying to get the best out of the sounder. Plus tips from other people are great.
