we didnt get flogged.... we took it to their club
we missed alot of goals albiet under intense pressure
IMO some weakness showed in the dockers forward line. quick skillfull fast forward entries and get them one out.....they cant play their defensive team brand of footy then....still dont see them as a top 2 team....but boy if they get there a home final against the dockers is going to be next on impossible.
the eagles are imrpooving but we go missing for 20 mins and its costs us...also gold kicking is a MASSIVE problem.
i will say it again the better team won.

Sorry to dampen your spirit Randall but we did bring it to Freo and for 3 quarters we were real condendors and you did only end up to win by 8 points. And we did kick 1 goal 7 points against you in the second quater, so if our conversion eaten was better Freo would have been in trouble. You do have to lift your game in order to even get to the grand final

fact is the umpring went both ways. there is going to be always stupid umpring in every game the way they umpire now. what you should be more concerned with is the dockers letting the eagles back into the game FAR TO EASILY. and top 2 sides dont do that. though i was really impressed with the dockers willingness to absord the pressure and press on witht the game.

Agree we let you guys off, and at the end we could have easily been run over, and yes, I saw some of those instances you mention and I felt a little lucky to get away with it, especially Kennedy's mark, but Mcgoverns mark was a foot over the line in the last quarter, so I guess that went part of the way to evening it up, but I'm still none the wiser with the holding the ball rule.

It's not important that freo are not a top two side in round 15. What's important is being a top two side after round 23. Our next four are dees, GWS, Saints and carlton. We'll start to get some players back over the coming weeks. Mcpharlin johnson and walters are all big ins. De boar will be another. Morabito just waiting in the wings. Then we have to really ramp it up to beat geelong, Sydney, hawks and port to make sure we're top two at the right end of the season. :)

I know that you can see that through your blue and yellow glasses, that puts a nice shade on everything wet toast, but the reality is, he is an over paid, overrated worthless hack, and that's the truth. Yeah maybe, but they are not paying them millions for it, as it stands now, there's not a lot wrong with Freo, and I guess there all being paying what they are worth. Fyfe has signed on for about 800k a year, and I'd sooner have him in my team before any of them blokes from over side of the river. Although there was a time I thought Coxy looked good in purple. If I can remember or live long enough to see that, I'll have a box of James Boags Premium bet with you on who wins the cup first. And if Coxy doesn't put up the boots this week, I reckon Lycett will be at Port Power next year.

1) most ruckmen take 3-4 years to get their apprenticeships
2) he was playing in year one
3)hes taken the league by storms in some games, sorry when he is on, NO ONE can stop him, albiet with young players its consistancyis the hard thing especially with rucks
4) sandi was so shit for years when he first started and that is a fact.

Loved hills games, mayne is
Loved hills games, mayne is improving, some really strong marking today. Fyfe is just a superstar and will continue to improve. Isn't that scary! Mundy was good. Really impressed with tabaner. 20 yr old drafted as a forward and came in to play defensively on nic nat and Cox when they rested. Their stats says a lot for his game. And despite what everyone thinks about dawson being a crab.... twinkle toes only kicked two goals and I reckon took more marks outside 50 than inside (I don't have that stat in front of me, just my feeling from being there). His two goals coukd have been his only two marks inside fifty, not sure? Sandi was brilliant. Say what you want about nic nat and Cox but sandi pantsed both of them in the ruck. Clarke took some timely marks around the ground.
Not overly impressed with the freo win, but individually there are some players starting to look dangerous.

lucky for me i was snapper fishing and missed the game, but watched the highlights and looked like a fairly good game. iam saddened to say it but its time for cox to stand aside for lycett as from the games ive watched he and nic nat appear to be teaming up better, its becoming apparent that nic nat needs to be the dominate ruckman doing the bulk of the work as seen the previous 2 weeks. when cox plays its like he goes into the mindset that coxy will do it and when he needs me ill help out. i believe that west coast have offered lycett the ruck roll when cox stands down but you wouldnt want to push your luck as port adelaide would look pretty intising at the moment especially for a SA boy.
read an artical saying ross lyon gave his boys a spray after the game, hope it was about some of the show boating that sort of play may not work against a top 4 side
backed my eagles in and iam happy to take the jibes from freo supporters but there is such a thing as bad winners.

He is not your traditional ruck man, never had been - he's more a universal midfielder , which I happen to think it's a very good thing...anyway , time will tell I guess. Gee, I just had a look in the TV mag to see what games were going to be on free to air TV today as there are 3 pretty good games on, but alas, they are only going to show Colliwobbles v Carlton. That is deplorable really since channel 7 have 3 different channels to show games. Getting my Foxtel hooked up when I move back to Perth is going to be a very high priority. In the city, is Foxtel via cable or satellite?

Cheers, we are looking to live down around Baldivis or there abouts, obviously it would be nice if foxtel was already connected, but in saying that, if it is cable, how is that distributed? Via Telstra lines or a specific Foxtel cable either on a pole or underground with other services? Down here satellite is the only option, but that's easy enough. I read somewhere though where the house holder has to install anchor point on the roof for the foxtel tech to secure to while he is on the roof if it is a satellite installation now.

unsure about installations mate, i think its telstra cable its part of the telstra foxtel bundles i think, best to make the call i havent had fox for years and it was satelite aswell
